E-Sign Your Application Documents

For Students

You will need to sign a Promissory Note and complete a Self-Certification Form for each loan application.

If your loan application includes a cosigner, we also need a signed Cosigner Addendum.

Sign Your Promissory Note and Self-Certification Form

E-Sign Instructions

On the Account Summary screen, click the Application Detail button for your application.
On the Application Detail screen, click the links to e-sign your Promissory Note and Self-Certification Form.

Mail Instructions

On the Account Summary screen, click the Application Detail button for your application.
On the Application Detail screen, click the links to download a pre-populated Promissory Note and Self-Certification Form.
The Promissory Note contains your Social Security number, so keep it in a safe place.
Print a copy of your Promissory Note and Self-Certification Form.
Check that all information is correct and complete.
Sign it with a black or blue pen.
Mail the original, signed copy to us:

After You Sign

Add a Cosigner

A cosigner is required for some applicants and optional for others.
Follow these instructions to add a cosigner.

School Certification

After we receive your signed Promissory Note and Self-Certification Form, we will contact your Financial Aid Office to request certification. Your school will:

Confirm your loan eligibility.
Confirm the loan amount.
Schedule dates and amounts of each disbursement.

Accept the Loan Terms

We will provide an Approval Disclosure with terms of your loan.
To accept the terms by phone, call 1-877-728-3030.
To accept the terms online, log in to your account.
On the Account Summary screen, click the Application Detail button for your application.
On the Application Detail screen, click the link to view the Approval Disclosure.
On the second page of the Approval Disclosure, click the button "I accept the loan".

For Cosigner

Make sure that you have completed your cosigner application online OR that you have called 1-877-728-3030.

E-Sign Your Cosigner Addendum

Log in to your account.
Click the Application Detail button for your application.
Select Cosigner / Reference in the Application Status section (bottom left).
Click the e-sign link at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions.
Print a copy of your Cosigner Addendum for your records.

Mail Your Cosigner Addendum

Print the Cosigner Addendum, complete the form, and mail it (with your original signature) to:
